Peels are designed to resurface damaged skin especially pigmented and blemished acne scarred skin recreating a smoother clearer complexion.
Enzyme peels
are a great way to give the skin a smooth and soft glow without any downtime. We have a beautiful organic peel with a mix of pineapple and papaya.
Refresher peels
exfoliate and generate a healthy glow and even skin tone. AHA or lactic peels work from the inside of the skin out, pushing skin damage to the surface. Most people have a feeling of dryness as the old skin sheds away but this is usually minimal. For deeper concerns it is best to do a series of fortnightly treatments.
Intense peels
treat problems such as fine lines, wrinkles, melasma (e.g. pregnancy mask, hyper/hypo-pigmentation), sun damage, age spots and acne scars. These peels usually have at least several days of down time, but produce more dramatic results than a light peel. If you are considering any type of deep peel, we recommend that you do these in the wintertime, to reduce potential hyper-pigmentation from sun exposure and prepare the skin in advance with home care. It is best to have a complimentary consultation before booking a deep peel.
